Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires 4 to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Lam manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Lam practices a wide scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal and tooth replacement therapy with dental implants. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Lam's staff is trained in assisting with I.V./deep sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Monitors are utilized to evaluate the patient’s blood pressure, oxygen saturation within the blood, the heart’s electrical activity, and the patient’s respiration. 

In addition, general anesthesia provided by a board certified anesthesiologist is available within our facility.

 

Staff members are also informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
